Two Bayou L’Ourse Men Plead Guilty to Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile

          On July 26, 2017, Randy Lee Jr. of 105 N Faith St. Morgan City, LA., age 32, and Tommy Lishman of 115 Aristle Rd. Morgan City, LA., age 48, pled guilty to Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile. Both Lee and Lishman were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Thomas Daigle, and presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Jason Verdigets. 

          On September 13, 2016, detectives with the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office received information regarding an incident in which a male subject exposed his genitals to a 16 year old girl. During an interview of the juvenile, she advised that she had spent the night at a Bayou L’Ourse residence belonging to a male subject identified as Randy Lee. The juvenile advised that while lying on a couch in Lee’s living room, Lee got her attention and proceeded to expose his genitals while masturbating. The juvenile advised that Lee offered her $500 to show him her body. After leaving the residence, the juvenile advised that Lee went to her residence to drop off her belongings. The juvenile advised that when she opened the door of Lee’s vehicle to retrieve her belongings, Lee began masturbating once again. Lee was subsequently arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Jail. 

          Upon entering a guilty plea to the above mentioned charge, Randy Lee’s sentencing was deferred pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation.  

          On June 19, 2016, the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office received a call from a concerned citizen advising that a 6 years old juvenile girl said that she was being inappropriately touched by a male subject identified as Tommy Lishman. Detectives interviewed multiple individuals including the child who gave a detailed statement of how she was inappropriately touched. During an interview with Lishman, he acknowledged that he may have inappropriately touched the child while playing. Lishman was subsequently arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Jail.

          Upon entering a guilty plea to the above mentioned charge, as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors, Tommy Lishman was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that 2 years of the imposed sentence are to be served without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.  

          Upon release, both Lee and Lishman must register and notify as a sex offender or child predator.
