Ascension Parish:
- Danny White, 748 Marilyn Dr. Baton Rouge, LA, age 44, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 12 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 12 months supervised probation.
The above case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Charles “Chuck” Long, and presiding over this matter was the Honorable Judge John Smith.
- Moises Anselmo-Avila, 33138 Cane Market Rd. Walker, LA, age 30, pled guilty to Illegal Use of Weapons and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 1 year supervised probation.
- Reece Breaux, 9306 Kurt Kindler Rd. Gonzales, LA, age 33, pled guilty to Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling and was sentenced to 4 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- On February 19, 2025, Quendel Jones of 6202 Convent Station St. Convent, LA, age 20, pled guilty to Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Theft of a Firearm, and Simple Burglary. Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation. On July 22, 2025, the defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- Andrew McWhirter, 43264 Moody Dixon Rd. Prairieville, LA, age 23, pled guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoids. The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

- Janine Cortez, 43059 Cypress Bend Ave. Gonzales, LA, age 59, pled guilty to Theft Valued at $25,000 or More and was sentenced to 10 years with the Louisiana Depaetment of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
- Chase Douglas, 519 Rome St. Gonzales, LA, age 30, pled guilty to Attempted Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
- Leilani Dubecky, 14231 Oak Meadow St. Gonzales, LA, age 19, pled guilty to Introducing Contraband Into or Upon the Grounds of Any State Correctional Institution and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
- Jamika Magee, 10550 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA, age 29, pled guilty to Felony Theft and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
- Asia Perkins, 2408 Commercial Dr. Port Allen, LA, age 26, pled guilty to Theft of a Motor Vehicle and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.

- Destinee Poche, 9282 Central Project St. Convent, LA, age 25, pled guilty to Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles (13 counts) and Distribution of Pornography Involving Juveniles (3 counts). Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation.
- Brant Garrett, 4089 Florida St. Zachary, LA, age 27, pled guilty to Illegal Possession of Stolen Things and was sentenced to 1 year in the parish jail with credit for time served.
