Ascension Parish:
- On May 19, 2025. Joshua Cannon of 136 7th Nederland, TX, age 36, pled guilty to Vehicular Homicide and DWI 3rd Offense. Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation. On December 15, 2025, the defendant was sentenced to 20 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- Brennan Daigle, 4190 Fitzgerald St. Addis, LA, age 36, pled guilty to Identity Theft and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for tine served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
- Michael Harris, 702 S 15th Baton Rouge, LA, age 39, pled guilty to Theft Valued at $1,000 or More, but Less than $5,000 and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
- Kassie Johnson, 800 Riverview Complex Donaldsonville, LA, age 46, pled guilty to Theft of a Motor Vehicle and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
- On September 15, 2025, Frederick Lake of 18665 Ducros Rd. Prairieville, LA, age 37, pled guilty to Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles (4 counts) and Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the age of 13 (15 counts). Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation. On December 15, 2025, the defendant was sentenced to 20 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. Upon release from incarceration, the defendant must register and notify as sex offender or child predator for life.
- Mark Hudson, 17059 Fox Ridge Dr. Prairieville, LA, age 22, pled guilty to Theft of a Firearm and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
- On April 22, 2025, Curtis Weams of 41331 Hwy 931 Gonzales, LA, age 40, pled guilty to Obscenity. Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation. On December 15, 2025, the defendant was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.

- Tarsha McGuire, 21 Stardust Rd. Natchez, MS, age 48, pled guilty to Monetary Instrument Abuse and Bank Fraud. The defendant was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
- Shawndria Tilford, 2824 S Burnside Ave Prairieville, LA, age 45, pled guilty to Theft Valued at $1,000 or More, but Less than $5,000 and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
- Fondell Joshua, 706 ½ Third St. Donaldsonville, LA, age 40, pled guilty to Attempted 2nd Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault with a Firearm. The defendant was sentenced to 17 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- Shaheem Lee, 8179 Treeline Dr. Gonzales, LA, age 18, pled guilty to Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
- Jesse Nigro, 6522 Audubon Blvd Sorrento, LA, age 31, pled guilty to Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles (5 counts). Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation.
- Daniel Taylor, 3765 Michelle Ln Paulina, LA, age 32, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance and OWI 1st The defendant was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
