Ascension Parish:
- Vonzell Batiste, 306 Claiborne St. Donaldsonville, LA, age 37, pled guilty to Possession or Introduction of Contraband Upon the Grounds of any State Correctional Institution and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. The said sentence is to be served consecutively to any sentence the defendant is currently serving.
- Davantea Link, 33450 Boudreaux St. White Castle, LA, age 25, pled guilty to Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation.

Assumption Parish:
- William Lawrence, 210 Freetown Lane Belle Rose, LA, age 50, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

- Don Jefferson, JR., 520 Centanni Rd. Kenner, LA, age 26, pled guilty to Identity Theft and Theft Valued at $5,000 or More, but Less than $25,000. The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
- Audrey Berber, 6605 N Foster Dr. Baton Rouge, LA, age 37, pled guilty to Identity Theft and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 5 years supervised probation.
- Manuel Gomez, 393 Circle West Dr. Westwego, LA, age 45, pled guilty to DWI 3rd Offense and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that 1 year of the said sentence is to be served, and the remaining 2 years are to be suspended. Upon release from incarceration, the defendant is to be placed on 3 years supervised probation.
- Brent Leger, 103 Calhoun St. Morgan City, LA, age 49, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- Darrell Dozar, 1204 ½ Daspit Houma, LA, age 38, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- De’Narion Truehill, 130 Hwy 403 Paincourtville, LA, age 18, pled guilty to Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and was sentenced to 10 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that 1 year of the said sentence is to be served, and the remaining 9 years are to be suspended. Upon release from incarceration, the defendant is to be placed on 5 years supervised probation.
- Harley Montet, 170 Ann St. Morgan City, LA, age 18, pled guilty to Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and was sentenced to 10 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. - On April 28, 2026, Michael Kenard of 2195 Railroad St. Lutcher, LA, age 56, was found guilty of Failure to Notify Law Enforcement (Sex Offender Violation). Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation.
- On April 29, 2026, Kendall Johnson of 226 East 14th Gramercy, LA, age 47, was found guilty of Forcible Rape. Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation.
