Ascension Parish:
1. William Jackman, 40150 Hwy 42 Prairieville, LA, age 42, pled guilty to 2nd Degree Battery and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
2. Kenneth Alsay, 149 D’Ville Village Donaldsonville, LA, age 19, pled guilty to Illegal Use of Weapons and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
3. Julian Earl, 1612 N Coontrap Rd. Gonzales, LA, age 21, pled guilty to 2nd Degree Battery and was sentenced to 4 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation. Earl also pled guilty to Possession or Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Institution and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Kristen Tregre and Craig Stewart. Presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Steven Tureau.
Assumption Parish:
1. Dewayne Holmes, 2101 Manhattan Blvd Houma, LA, age 32, pled guilty to Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
2. Crystal Duhon, 294 Ricohac Dr. Franklin, LA, age 50, pled guilty to Possession or Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Institution and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
3. Chase Hernandez, 11490 Sims Rd. Denham Springs, LA, age 24, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
4. Evan Lynch, 11004 Martin Rd. Gonzales, LA, age 22, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.

St. James Parish:
1. Rickey Joseph, 8347 Hwy 18 St. James, LA, age 47, pled guilty to DWI 3rd Offense. Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation.
2. Shamar Harris, 1281 Magnolia Heights Vacherie, LA, age 25, pled guilty to Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and was sentenced to 15 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
3. Brent Zeller, 1390 Second St. Lutcher, LA, age 41, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
4. Wesley Calcagno, 221 E Spur St. Gramercy, LA, age 36, pled guilty to Possession of Fentanyl and Possession with Intent to Distribute Diazepam. The defendant was sentenced to 4 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 4 years supervised probation.
