Ascension Parish: 

1. Eddie Furby, 40021 Coontrap Rd. Gonzales, LA, age 40, pled guilty to Felony Theft (2 counts) and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. 

2. Jovany Lopez Perera, 2336 S Millwood Wichita, KS, age 31, pled guilty to Aggravated 2^nd Degree Battery and was sentenced to 8 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation. 

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Blake Sheets and Christopher Carter. Presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Cody Martin. 

Assumption Parish: 

1. Tyrone Chevers, 272 A Hwy 401 Napoleonville, LA, age 57, pled guilty to Second Degree Rape and was sentenced to 27 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. The defendant is required to register and notify as a sex offender for life. 

2. Racquel Barber, 2327 Clement St. Morgan City, LA, age 50, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation. 

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Lana Chaney, and presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Keyojuan Turner. 

St. James Parish: 

1. Jacob Etue, 422 Riverlon Ave. Baton Rouge, LA, age 28, pled guilty to Obstruction of Justice and Non-Consensual Disclosure of a Private Image. The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.

 The above case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Bruce Mohon, and presiding over this matter was the Honorable Judge Jason Verdigets.
