Ascension Parish:
1. Dennis Adams, 6018 Grant St. Paincourtville, LA., age 49, pled guilty to Simple Burglary (2 counts) and was sentenced to 10 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
2. Gerald Bougere, 7035 Hwy 70 Plattenville, LA., age 26, pled guilty to Theft Valued Over $1,000 and Simple Burglary. The defendant was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
3. Jiesary Price, 35116 Hwy 1 N Donaldsonville, LA., age 21, pled guilty to Theft Over $1,000 and Simple Burglary. The defendant was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
4. Preston Sharp, 38174 Smith Rd. Prairieville, LA., age 23, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. The defendant was sentenced to 12 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
5. Joya Taylor, 1112 Shady Glen Dr. Gonzales, LA., age 46, pled guilty to Theft Valued Over $1,000, but Less than $5,000. The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
6. Chad Burt, 42407 Weber City Rd. Gonzales, LA., age 45, pled guilty to Theft Valued Over $5,000, but Less than $25,000 and Simple Burglary. The defendant was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
7. Michael Simmers, 15473 Ryan Ave. Prairieville, LA., age 48, pled guilty to Contractors; Misapplication of Payments and received a sentence of five years with the Department of Corrections. Simmers also pled guilty to one count of Residential Contractor Fraud and received seven years with the Department of Corrections. Those sentences are to run consecutive to each other for a total of twelve years. Of the twelve years, three years must be served in the Custody of DOC. The remaining nine years were suspended, and the defendant was placed on probation for three years. For count one, the defendant was ordered to pay $20,000 and to execute a civil monetary judgment in that amount. For count two, the defendant was ordered to pay $43,000 and execute a civil monetary judgment for that amount. Both cases occurred to victims that hired Simmers for home repairs during the 2016 flood. Both victims provided Simmers with the amount of money listed upfront, and Simmers never performed any work on either home.
8. John Henderson, 2638 Vanderbuilt Dr. Baton Rouge, LA., age 28, pled guilty to Vehicular Homicide. Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation. Sentencing is tentatively set for August 26, 2019.
9. Trevor Rodrigue, 16097 Tiger Heights Dr. Prairieville, LA., age 24, pled guilty to Extortion on February 11, 2019. Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation. On May 28, 2019, Rodrigue was sentenced to 12 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
10. Germaine Fletcher, Donaldsonville, LA., age 31, pled guilty to Domestic Abuse by Strangulation and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that 6 months of the said sentence are to be served and the remaining 2 ½ years are to be suspended. Upon release, the defendant is to be placed on 2 ½ years supervised probation.

11. Tessa Menier, 37313 Hwy 74 Geismar, LA., age 32, pled guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
12. Jonathan Joseph, 1112 Lexington Ave. Gonzales, LA., age 28, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
13. Joshua Marchand, 6175 Hwy 37 Greensburg, LA., age 41, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 24 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 24 months supervised probation.
14. Melissa Brouillette, 12178 Elva St. Baton Rouge, LA., age 43, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 24 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 36 months supervised probation.
15. Earl Bureau, 8370 S St. Landry Ave. Gonzales, LA., age 32, pled guilty to Obscenity and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
16. Alta Olney, 41356 Cemetary Rd. Gonzales, LA., age 34, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
17. Dorna Chauvin, 15315 LA 931 Prairieville, LA., age 25, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 24 months supervised probation.
18. Titus Johnson, 30935 Burgess Rd. Denham Springs, LA., age 22, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Driver’s License, Improper Lane Usage, and Two Headlights required. The defendant was sentenced to 12 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 12 months supervised probation.
19. Melissa Stewart, 80385 Handrich Dr. Baton Rouge, LA., age 21, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, Illegal Possession of Stolen Things, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The defendant was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
20. Payton Clements, 38459 Camp Dr. Prairieville, LA., age 24, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Marijuana. The defendant was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
21. Mark Jackson, 36437 Hwy 74 Geismar, LA., age 33, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Marijuana. The defendant was sentenced to 12 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 12 months supervised probation.
22. Javon Robertson, 204 Myrtle Grove Donaldsonville, LA., age 35, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Marijuana. The defendant was sentenced to 12 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 12 months supervised probation.
23. Jessica Perez, 108 E Railroad St. Gonzales, LA., age 42, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and Resisting an Officer. The defendant was sentenced to 24 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 24 months supervised probation.
24. Tammy Rivere, 42510 Lillie Babin Rd. Gonzales, LA., age 38, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.

Assumption Parish:
1. Danny LeBlanc, 2443 S HWY 70 Pierre Part, LA., age 28, pled guilty to Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Illegal Carrying of Weapons, and Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance. The defendant was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served on each count to run concurrent with one another.
The above case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Lana Chaney, and presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Alvin Turner Jr.
2. Gary Cox Sr., Belle Rose, LA., age 24, pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Battery and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 1 year supervised probation.
3. Felicia Tharp, Morgan City, LA., age 43, pled guilty to Resisting an Officer with Force or Violence and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
