SERVING ASCENSION, ASSUMPTION & ST. JAMES PARISHES

During the week of September 10-September 14, 2018, the following defendants pled guilty to various charges and were sentenced in the 23rd Judicial District Court, parishes of Ascension, Assumption, and St. James.

Ascension Parish:

  1. Kidal Daniels, 332 Ambassador Dr. Westwego, LA., age 43, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and DWI 2nd Offense. The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  2. John Davis Jr., 41040 Busy Needles Rd. Gonzales, LA., age 32, pled guilty to Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Distribution of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance. The defendant was sentenced to 10 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  3. Kristen Dixon, 39327 Catoire Rd. Prairieville, LA., age 22, pled guilty to Forgery and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
  4. Dean Hue Jr., 7507 Hwy 1 S Belle Rose, LA., age 19, pled guilty to Attempted Auto Burglary (2 counts) and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  5. Jason Dauzat, Gonzales, LA., age 36, pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Battery and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  6. Jacelyn Lambert, 42284 Bayou Narcisse Rd. Gonzales, LA., age 20, pled guilty to Unauthorized Use of an Access Card as Theft and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  7. Adam Bedell, 10480 Wade Dr. Denham Springs, LA., age 35, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  8. Leslie Davis, Gonzales, LA., age 44, pled guilty to Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile and was sentenced to 7 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. Upon release from incarceration, the defendant must register and notify as a sex offender or child predator for a period of 15 years.
  9. Ronald Harvey, Houston TX., age 42, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and Felony Criminal Damage to Property. The defendant was sentenced to 4 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  10. Cody Martin, 38174 Smith Rd. Prairieville, LA., age 25, pled guilty to Simple Burglary (2 counts) and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  11. Brad Cavalier, 404 W 3rd St. Donaldsonville, LA., age 24, pled guilty to Simple Burglary (2 counts) and Attempted Simple Burglary (2 counts). The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

  1. Carl Broden, 1216 S Burnside Ave. Gonzales, LA., age 54, pled guilty to Unauthorized Use of a Movable and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  2. Jermaine Cole, 204 Church St. Donaldsonville, LA., age 41, pled guilty to Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling and was sentenced to 7 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  3. Thomas Poche, 507 Warrington Dr. New Orleans, LA., age 34, pled guilty to Simple Burglary (5 counts) and was sentenced to 20 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  4. Ronald Roberts, 2513 Penn St. Gonzales, LA., age 51, pled guilty to Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling (2 counts) and was sentenced to 7 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  5. Joshua Scott, 9487 Balboa Dr. Baton Rouge, LA., age 26, pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Battery and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  6. Terin Smith, 12150 Louis White Rd. Geismar, LA., age 25, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  7. Chad Stokes, 12513 Forest Braud Lane Gonzales, LA., age 43, pled guilty to 2nd Degree Battery and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  8. Travis Wilson, 215 Anthony Dr. Donaldsonville, LA., age 38, pled guilty to Attempted Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and was sentenced to 7 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  9. Heather Firmin, 42361 Moody Dixon Rd. Prairieville, LA., age 41, pled guilty to Principle to 2nd Degree Battery and was sentenced to 6 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  10. David Gonday, 43464 Norwood Rd. Prairieville, LA., age 35, pled guilty to Attempted 1st Degree Murder and 2nd Degree Robbery. The defendant was sentenced to 15 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  11. Richard Allen, 6100 Panama Rd. Sorrento, LA., age 55, pled guilty to 2nd Degree Robbery and 2nd Degree Battery. Formal sentencing is tentatively set for October 9, 2018.

 Assumption Parish:

  1. Quintard Truehill, 153 Bertrand St. Napoleonville, LA., age 30, pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Battery; Child Endangerment Law, Resisting a Police Officer with Force or Violence (2 counts), and Battery of a Police Officer with Injury Requiring Medical Attention. The defendant was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  2. Bryston Perrier, 137 Riverbend St. Pierre Part, LA., age 18, pled guilty to Illegal Possession of Stolen Firearms and Simple Burglary. The defendant was sentenced to 3 ½ years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  3. Frances Boudreaux, 128 Pond Dr. Morgan City, LA., age 33, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  4. Michael Maples, 15204 Houma Highlands Court Houma, LA., age 30, pled guilty to DWI 3rd Offense, Driving Under Suspension, and Operating a Vehicle While Under Suspension for Certain Prior Offenses. Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation.
  5. Dennis Cavalier, 660 Belle River Rd. Pierre Part, LA., age 50, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Illegal Carrying of Weapons. The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  6. Jamal Dunn, 408 Barcelona Dr. Donaldsonville, LA., age 22, pled guilty to Illegal Carrying of Weapons and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.

St. James Parish:

  1. Johnny Bailey, 1319 Hwy 1 Thibodaux, LA., age 40, pled guilty to Illegal Possession of Stolen Things and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  2. Dominique Dantoni, 2149 Greenwood Dr. LaPlace, LA., age 21, pled guilty to Theft Valued Over $1,000, but Less than $5,000. The defendant was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  3. Tony Reulet, 22637 Innes St. Vacherie, LA., age 42, pled guilty to Illegal Use of Weapons and Domestic Abuse of a Pregnant Victim. The defendant was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  4. Dvonta Curley, 2500 Amy Dr. LaPlace, LA., age 20, pled guilty to Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and was sentenced to 10 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  5. Donnie Moody, 4000 Baytree Ln. Vacherie, LA., age 37, pled guilty to 2nd Degree Battery and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  6. Jeffery Richard, 9311 Watertower St. Convent, LA., age 52, pled guilty to Aggravated Battery and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
