On April 27, 2018, Angela Gaudet of Gonzales, LA., age 31, appeared before the Honorable Judge Tess Stromberg for a bond hearing after being charged in connection with a fatal crash which injured several individuals and claimed the life of 5 year old Addysin Teekel, the daughter of a St. John Parish Sheriff’s Deputy. Judge Stromberg ordered that Gaudet be held without bond. Gaudet remains incarcerated at the Ascension Parish Detention Center. 

          Joey Gaudet, age 35, also of Gonzales, who was charged with Obstruction of Justice and Injuring Public Records in connection with this matter, remains incarcerated at the Ascension Parish Detention Center in lieu of a $100,000 bond. 

          Assistant District Attorney Shawn Bush is the lead prosecutor on this case.
