On July 3, 2018, Jason Boudreaux of 128 Pond Dr. Bayou L’Ourse, LA., age 39, pled guilty to Distribution of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance. Boudreaux was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Thomas Daigle, and presiding over this matter was the Honorable Judge Jessie LeBlanc. This guilty plea was part of a plea agreement with prosecutors following a 2017 narcotics investigation. 

          On May 4, 2017, narcotics agents with the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office located and arrested Jason Boudreaux for Distribution of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance as part of an going narcotics investigation. Several days prior, Boudreaux was observed by agents selling a quantity of methamphetamine from his Bayou L’Ourse residence.  

          Upon entering a guilty plea to the above-mentioned charge, as per the plea agreement with prosecutors, Boudreaux was sentenced to 15 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
