Ascension Parish:
- David Aycock, 6719 Dogwood Dr. Pineville, LA., age 51, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The defendant was sentenced to 4 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- Irvin Jones, 134 Evangeline Dr. Donaldsonville, LA., age 32, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance, Illegal Carrying of Weapons, and Possession of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoids. The defendant was sentenced to 24 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 24 months supervised probation.
The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Charles “Chuck” Long, and presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Tess Stromberg.
Assumption Parish:
- Jason Boudreaux, 128 Pond Dr. Bayou L’Ourse, LA., age 39, pled guilty to Distribution of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 15 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- Darwin Fair, 102 Grant Loop Rd. Napoleonville, LA., age 36, pled guilty to Aggravated Flight from and Officer and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- Jamie Ivy, 109 Andras St. Bayou L’Ourse, LA., age 35, pled guilty to Auto Burglary and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- Ray Madere, Plattenville, LA., age 55, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Thomas Daigle, and presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Jessie LeBlanc.
