SERVING ASCENSION, ASSUMPTION & ST. JAMES PARISHES

During the week of August 13-August 17, 2018, the following defendants pled guilty to various charges and were sentenced in the 23rd Judicial District Court, parishes of Ascension, Assumption, and St. James.

Ascension Parish: 

  1. Dane Delatte, 10814 Autumn View Dr. Prairieville, LA., age 36, pled guilty to DWI 3rd Offense and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  2. Ashton Green, 2618 Lancelot Dr. Baton Rouge, LA., age 18, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and Principle to Sexual Battery. The defendant was sentenced to 12 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  3. Chris Young, 11101 Hwy 270 White Hall, AZ., age 49, pled guilty to Theft of Assets of an Aged or Disabled Person and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Shawn Bush and Phil Maples. Presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Thomas Kliebert.

  1.  Jabari Coffey, 41063 Cannon Rd. Gonzales, LA., age 42, pled guilty to Theft Over $5,000 but Less than $25,000 and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
  2. Garrett Vizinat, 11150 Reyna Dr. Gonzales, LA., age 27, pled guilty to Obscenity and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
  3. Marion Mcintosh, Louisiana, age 20, pled guilty to Felony Simple Criminal Damage to Property and Simple Burglary. The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
  4. Jeffery Tuberville, Gonzales, LA., age 52, pled guilty to Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that the defendant is to serve 1 year of the said sentence, and the remaining 4 years are to be suspended. Upon release from incarceration, the defendant is to be placed on 3 years supervised probation.
