SERVING ASCENSION, ASSUMPTION & ST. JAMES PARISHES

During the week of December 4 – December 8, 2023, the following defendants pled guilty to various charges and were sentenced in the 23rd Judicial District Court, parishes of Ascension, Assumption, and St. James.

Ascension Parish: 

  1. Tedrick Glasper, 928 Hudd Dr. Homer, LA, age 38, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
  1. James Gianelloni, 12521 Palmer Rd. Gonzales, LA, age 46, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance (2 counts) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The defendant was sentenced to 12 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. 
  1. Elcee Guillard, 337 Jeffer Dr. Westwego, LA, age 37, pled guilty to 2nd Degree Battery and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. 
  1. Reginal Miles, 1105 South Vista St. Gonzales, LA, age 29, pled guilty to Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Aggravated Assault with a Firearm. The defendant was sentenced to 10 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. 
  1. Daniel Phelps, 23019 Hwy 16 Denham Springs, LA, age 49, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 36 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 36 months supervised probation.                
  2. Cornell Hall, 225 North Roscoe Ave. Gonzales, LA, age 52, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. 
  1. Joseph Green III, 40206 Coontrap Rd. Gonzales, LA, age 35, pled guilty to Criminal Damage to Property, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance. The defendant was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation. 
  1. Tyler Turner, 16628 Hooper Rd. Greenwell Springs, LA, age 23, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisianan Department of Corrections with credit for time served. 
  1. Michelle Delhommer, 5005 Beau Jon Ave Prairieville, LA, age 44, pled guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance (4 counts), Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule III Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance, Illegal Possession of Weapons in the presence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (5 counts), Unlawful Possession of Body Armor, Possession of Firearms with Obliterated Number or Mark and Illegal Possession of Stolen Firearms ( 2 counts). Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation. 
  1. Jamie Bourgeois, 41082 Busy Needle Rd. Gonzales, LA, age 53, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation. 
  1. Michael Jones, 37313 Hwy 74 Geismar, LA, age 50, pled guilty to Theft Valued Over $25,000 and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation. 

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Charles “Chuck” Long, Ronin O’Bannon, and Falcon Mire. Presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Tess Stromberg. 

Assumption Parish: 

  1. Danta Batiste, 303 Pelican St. Labadieville, LA, age 30, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. 
  1. Shannon Mabrey, 111 Ru De Kajun Pierre Part, LA, age 43, pled guilty to Obscenity and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that 1 year of the said sentence is to be served, and the remaining 2 years are to be suspended. Upon release from incarceration, the defendant is to be placed on 3 years supervised probation and will be required to register as a sex offender. 
  1. Lionel Jones, 208 Southwood Dr. Houma, LA, age 41, pled guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 4 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. 
  1. Timothy Hendon, 4345 Hwy 70 S Pierre Part, LA, age 34, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation. 
  1. Dohriyon Millien, 3719 Hwy 1 Napoleonville, LA, age 32, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. 
  1. Ricky Williams, 121 Oak St. Labadieville, LA, age 22, pled guilty to Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile. Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation. 
  1. Nolan Vedros, 125 Hickory St. Labadieville, LA, age 57, pled guilty to Theft Valued Over $25,000 and was sentenced to 10 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that 3 years of the said sentence are to be served, and the remaining 7 years are to be suspended. Upon release from incarceration, the defendant will be placed on 3 years supervised probation.

  1. Deiontrey Miles, 181 Hwy 998 Belle Rose, LA, age 25, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation. 
  1. Skyler Gibson, 6161 Bayou Black Dr. Gibson, LA, age 29, pled guilty to Theft Valued Over $5,000, but Less than $25,000 and Theft Valued Over $1, 000, but Less than $5,000. The defendant was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation. 
  1. Dwayne Rainey, 174 Hwy 1008 Napoleonville, LA, age 43, pled guilty to Home Invasion and was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. 
  1. Crystal LeBlanc, 201 Heriard St. Plattenville, LA, age 43, pled guilty to Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance. The defendant was sentenced to 1 year with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. 
  1. Deonte Harris, Patterson, LA, age 26, pled guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 1 year supervised probation. 
  1. Timothy Lopez, 447 Shell Beach Rd. Pierre Part, LA, age 39, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation. 
  1. Blake Morris, Franklin, LA, age 31, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation. 

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Lana Chaney, and presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Keyojuan Gant-Turner.
