Ascension Parish:
- Robert Dunaway, 2533 Stonewood Dr. Baton Rouge, LA, age 60, pled guilty to Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and was sentenced to 7 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
- Megan McBride, 8719 Chickasaw Ave. Denham Springs, LA, age 36, pled guilty to Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
- Lekeisha Joseph, 1008 Whitlow Ct. LaPlace, LA, age 41, pled guilty to Theft Valued at $1,000 or More, but Less than $5,000 and was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
- Lamonnia LeBlanc, 234 D’Ville Circle Donaldsonville, LA, age 23, pled guilty to Monetary Instrument Abuse and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Leila Braswell and Kristen Tregre. Presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Jason Verdigets.
Assumption Parish:
- Amari McGill, 300 Washington St. Napoleonville, LA, age 20, pled guilty to Aggravated Flight from an Officer and Felony Simple Criminal Damage to Property. On the charge of Aggravated Flight from an Officer, the defendant was sentenced to 4 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that 1 year of the said sentence is to be served, and the remaining 3 years are to be suspended. Upon release from incarceration, the defendant is to be placed on 3 years supervised probation. On The charge of Felony Simple Criminal Damage to Property, the defendant was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that the said sentences are to run concurrent with one another.
