Ascension Parish:
- Jacob Dickerson, 13179 Honey Dr. Baton Rouge, LA., age 38, previously pled guilty to DWI 3rd Offense. Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation. On October 28, 2019, the defendant was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- On May 13, 2019, Brittany Mackie of 36368 Crest Way Ave. Prairieville, LA., age 31, pled guilty to Negligent Homicide and Hit and Run Driving. Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation. On October 28, 2019, Mackie was sentenced to 15 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Shawn Bush, and presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Thomas Kliebert.
Assumption Parish:
- Shane Allen, 4019 Live Oak Dr. Brusly, LA., age 40, pled guilty to Theft of a Motor Vehicle and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
- David Hebert, 461 Shell Beach Rd. Pierre Part, LA., age 35, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Thomas Daigle, and presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Jason Verdigets.
St. James Parish:
- Leon Jones, 1883 Old Vacherie Rd. Vacherie, LA., age 35, pled guilty to Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and was sentenced to 7 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- Ashley Montz, Garyville, LA., age 37, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 2 years supervised probation.
