Ascension Parish:
- Luis Escudero, 12349 Deck Blvd. Geismar, LA., age 23, pled guilty to Illegal Possession of Stolen Firearms and was sentenced to 12 months in the parish jail with credit for time served.
The above case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Joni Buquoi, and presiding over this matter was the Honorable Judge Jessie LeBlanc.
- Blair Johnson, 4511 Spellman Wall Rd. Prairieville, LA., age 31, pled guilty to Theft Valued at $1000 or More, but Less than $5000. The defendant was sentenced to 3 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 18 months supervised probation.
- Anthony Joshua, 1007 Nolan Ave. Donaldsonville, LA., age 18, pled guilty to Simple Burglary and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
- Joshua Thibodeaux, 301 Hood St. Donaldsonville, LA., age 27, pled guilty to Public Intimidation and was sentenced to 18 months with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- Cedric Walker, 16441 S Harrels Ferry Rd. Baton Rouge, LA., age 23, pled guilty to Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and was sentenced to 7 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- Adrian Bradley, 43333 Willie Bell Rd. Geismar, LA., age 43, pled guilty to 2nd Degree Battery and was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years supervised probation.
The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Kenneth Dupaty and Steven Tureau. Presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Alvin Turner.
Assumption Parish:
- Theresa Furnish, 128 Oak Ln. Pierre Part, LA., age 53, pled guilty to Distribution of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance. The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- Jared Rivere, 103 Randall St. Pierre Part, LA., age 31, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- Oscar Davis, 115 Pugh St. Paincourtville, LA., age 42, pled guilty to Distribution of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 15 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
- Wade Rives, 315 Shell Beach Rd. Pierre Part, LA., age 36, pled guilty to Possession or Dealing in Unregistered or Illegally Transferred Weapons (2 counts), and Distribution of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance. The defendant was sentenced to 5 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that the defendant is to serve 1 year of the said sentence, and the remaining 4 years are to be suspended. Upon release from incarceration, the defendant is to be placed on 2 years supervised probation.
