On March 28, 2022, Randi Bleakley of 221 E Spur St. Gramercy, LA, age 32, pled guilty to Distribution of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance (2 counts) and Violation of Uniform Controlled Dangerous Substance Law; Drug Free Zone (2 counts). Bleakley was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Adam Koenig, and presiding over this matter was the Honorable Judge Tess Stromberg. This guilty plea was the result of a plea agreement with prosecutors in connection with a 2019 narcotics investigation. 

          In April of 2019, officers with the Gramercy Police Department received information indicating that Randi Bleakley was selling illegal narcotics from her Gramercy residence. Officers began conducting surveillance and were able to purchase methamphetamine from Bleakley on three separate occasions. Upon making these purchases, officers secured a warrant of arrest for Bleakley. Bleakley was subsequently arrested and booked into the St. James Parish Jail.

          Upon entering a guilty plea to the above-mentioned charges, pursuant to the plea agreement with prosecutors, Bleakley was sentenced to 12 ½ years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.
