On March 28, 2022, a St. James Parish Grand Jury returned a true bill of indictment on 60-year-old Ricky Brooks of 3534 Hwy 44 Paulina, LA for the charges of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile and Sexual Battery. 

          On June 30, 2021, St. James Parish Sheriff’s Deputies received information that a juvenile was inappropriately touched by a family member on two occasions. Detectives collected evidence and obtained statements from witnesses. Ricky Brooks was identified as the suspect in question and was subsequently arrested and booked into the St. James Parish Jail where he remains incarcerated.
