On March 21, 2016, members of the Louisiana State Police, Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, Our Lady of the Lake Hospitals, 23rd Judicial District Public Defender’s Office, Ascension Parish Judge’s Office, and the 23rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office attended Dutchtown High School to participate in a mock trial. Also participating in the mock trial were several students. The individuals participating in the mock trial worked together to create a courtroom demonstration of an individual on trial for vehicular homicide.
