Last week, Frederick Lake of 16497 Jefferson Oaks Dr. Prairieville, LA, age 37, pled guilty to Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles (4 counts) and Possession of Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the age of 13 (15 counts). Lake was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Adam Koenig, and presiding over this matter is the Honorable Judge Steven Tureau.  

          On December 21, 2022, agents with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigations initiated an investigation after receiving a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The received tip was submitted regarding the possession, distribution, and/or manufacture of Child Sexual Abuse Material. Upon investigating the tip, agents were able to identify Frederick Lake as the suspect and recovered evidence indicating that Lake was downloading and uploading numerous digital files containing Child Sexual Abuse Material. During a search of media accounts belonging to Lake, agents located numerous labeled and organized files with descriptions of the contained Child Sexual Abuse Material. Agents secured a warrant of arrest for Lake who was subsequently apprehended and booked into the Ascension Parish Jail. 

          Upon entering a guilty plea to the above mentioned charges, sentencing was deferred to a later date pending a Pre-Sentence Investigation. Sentencing is tentatively set for December 15, 2025.
